any sources for used trailers.

there has to be a pile of used trailers out there, how do you find them.

Most used trailers I found were VERY used. If you plan on using one as anything more than a yard trailer it's usually cheaper to buy new.

There are almost no used trailers out there. I'd be retired if I could find a used trailer for everyone that calls me looking for one. They usually die before or with a boat. Watch the ads and jump on one if you find it. Otherwise, buy a new one right and take care of it.

I have a used trailer that I would consider selling. It came with the Formula 336 that I just bought, and I don't really need it since the boat will be on a lift under my covered dock. I don't have the exact model #, but it was made by Owens & Sons in FL in 1996. It is all aluminum, and would accommodate a 35' boat easily (with my Formula on it there was still at least 3' of runner left). I just put brand new Goodyear Marathon tires on it, and it also has a new jack.

I have no idea of value, other than NADA says $4k. Make me an offer if anyone's interested, but I'm not real interested in selling, since I just spent $500 on tires, and it does provide some utility having it around....

Not to shoot Wild in the rear, but if you don't need the money and have somewhere to keep the trailer, I'd keep it!

buy a new one if you are going to tow it at all.... you will spend more repairning a used trailer if you actually use it...
