Talking Raylar kits

I do not want to hear from Ray, but I would like to hear from anybody who has INSTALLED one of Raylars kits for a 496. I would like to hear what the product looks like and how was it to install. I WOULD ONLY LIKE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE INSTALLED, NOT YOUR BUDDY.

Thanks alot.

If you want it from the horses mouth go to www.hotboat.net There a several people who have just had this install done and are just getting their numbers in after prop testing. They are posting tons of stuff about the install and performance afterwards. The 496 is a popular motor out that way. FWIW from what I read most the places that carry and/or install it are sold out. In high demand. Hope this helps.

Sorry, but at this point all I have is stories of installs by a shop. Results of the kit itself have been very promising. Give me a few weeks and I will have more info for you.

I'll be the first to say.....I was kinda nervous on the Hotboat site. Kinda like a kid walking away from his mom for the first time. I think I'll just stick to OSO.

Thumbs up Re: Raylar kits

In next weeks release of the HOT Boat magazine May issue there is a multi-page tech article of a customers boat with before tests, on the dyno stock and after Raylar kit and some after in the water tests that should give everybody a pretty clear picture of how a Raylar kit works on a stock 496HO.
