Default Need help getting Throttle controls off

I have a 25 outlaw with stock controls. How hard is it to take them off? I think there is 2 wires and 2 cables? Any help would be appreciated.

It shouldnt be too hard. The two wires should be for the neutral safety switch. If you can trace them and disconnect without cutting, obviously that would be best. The cables should be self explanatory. What type of controls are you removing?

it is best to unhooh the wires without cutting them but its pbobable not possible unless the boat builder put bullet connectors in. they ussualy just butt connect them though and then those wires just tie in to the main harness. when youa re hooking them back up it doent matter wich way they get hooked up though becuase it is just a disconect switch.

like anything else...go slow....
the wires are easy, as stated by hillbilly.....
just check to be sure which is the shift, and which is the throttle before you disconnect..
i have twins, recently switched to gaffrig...and i actually used a sharpie to write directly on each cable....the whole process, with the cutting of the dash....was real easy.
