Skater 28 - peformance?
 

Hi!

We have got hold of a second hand Skater 28 pleasure version. It has to be rerigged comletey with new interior and steering. We will have two Merc 2.5 EFI Offshore (300hp+ each) in it.

We would be very pleased if you could give us some feedback on

@ handling in rough seas (3-5 footers), quartering, towards and against waves
@ handling towards the wind and with the wind at wot
@ handling av cruising speed 50-60 mph
@ handling in corners

I have a 28 on order this boat is one of the best handling cats you will ever run speed you should see around 115 with 300 hp powerboat magazine did an artickle on this boat it is march 1994 they loved it this boat use to race in prostock class and they just dominated rough water 4 to 6s also very stable and safe boat at those speeds good luck talk to the factory peter or chris very nice people :D

jim , if you have a boat on order ask peter at skater if he can cut the transom down for 15 " mid sections . I heard he is doing that now on the 28 s .
