Was this boat repainted and sold?

I heard that one of the "Zuperman" boats was repainted white and sold. Is this the one? I think there were at least two Z boats. Not a paintjob I'd do, but excellent work and skill none the less. It's a shame to see it "deleted" if that's the case.

I think the older one was repainted white. Haven't heard anything about this one.

What was the advantage to lengthining the transom?

Since its a rudder boat are skegs necessary?

Also what happens if the rudder breaks off in a turn with no shegs?

Or could you use a smaller rudder with the skegs???

I figure the main reason is drag
for no skegs

how many things do you want dragging thru the water? :D

rudder breakage (complete failure) is extremely rare, there are more and more boats being built with rudders here in the US, its a much more precise and stable way to turn at high speeds...

also, once those sixes are fixed in place, the skegs wouldn't be doing any good anyway, they don't turn anymore.

Your screwed, luckily this would be very unlikely.

No. when you tried to turn it would try to make the boat go straight.

I think they probably wanted the rudder set up because it is more stable setup at higher speeds. ie having the rudder behind the props. They may also have put the sixes on because the skater hull doesn't have a bussel on the rear for the shafts to mount to. :D
