transom water pickups????
 

Hey guys i have a 25' Motion with twin 280s on it or a (24' Skater same hull). I need some input on transom water pickups can not get enuff water psi when running them high where they like it! I have sport masters on the boat.

you will have to go to remote pickups on the hull thats what we do on the skaters when we run the x up thats all you can do

I have a friend with a 25 motion with pickups molded into the sponsons. I don't know if they were factory installed but the inlets look factory. I have a velocity with twin 280s' and I am going to install transom pickups for the same reason.Cheap insurance. My porta lift bracket solenoid craped and overheated both motors to the tune of 4000.00. Best of luck to you Skydog. Bob.

Talk to Marty @ Diamond Marine they can do low water mods to the water intake on the lowers.That maybe will solve your problem,it worked well on my 28 skater
