It had MAJOR DAMAGE and repairs at one time. The 40 Motion mold was also pulled off of that boat.

mmm, let's see:

Needs a complete set of 6's, complete engines including bell houseing etc., drive shafts, transmissions, complete rewiring with new wiring harness, all new gauges, trailer, probably canvas, refinish the interior, maybe canopies, paint and lord knows about any body work or maybe even fuel tanks rebuilt.

If you can't do all the work then add labor.

I will give them 40k cash if it passes a survey.

Do you trust the seller ???

If it is the Restore boat....the bottom came out bad in a race in Puerto Rico when Forrest Barber and JT ran the boat. And then it was sold and repaired.

One has the life long obligation to them self to make every purchase with the credo of "buyer beware". As I mentioned before, too bad there is not a boatfax.com.

Unless you have impeccable insight through proximity over time you should always have an expert do a thorough inspection. It is not unusual to use an attorney. A good attorney will contact and direct the transaction through a lien holder.
