Anyone know this boat
 

I was hoping that someone on this board could tell me the scoop on this Skater.

I really don't know a whole lot about this boat other than I remember watching it race. Has it ever sufferd any major damage. Has anyone seen it lately, or looked at it.

I was racing along side this boat for many years. It was a fast cat, I had a fast V in a lower class, so I saw this boat from the back allot.

That boat ran as C-39, owned and driven by Carlton Myers in 1992, winning the National Championship. In 1993-1994 the boat also ran in C class. In 1995-1996 the boat ran as M-39 and had Dan DeSantis as driver and Mark Hilsinger on throttles. By this time Carlton had a bigger boat #39 and ran both D and open class, while he still owned the smaller one.

I do not recall any major incidents involving the boat.

The last time I saw the boat was either 1998 or 1999 at the NYC SBI race. At the time it looked real strong.

I believe it had an incident in lauderdale around 2003ish.

Could very well be, thats why I said
