My 2007 30 SKater T/300xs, as previously documented gets 2.2 - 2.4mpg avg with the 3 blade cleavers. I am still working of the right setup and props, but in two days of tests, several weeks apart, of 5 blade CNC props, I consistintly get 2.83mpg at 65mph, and 2.58mpg at 80mph.

Is that per engine or for the pair ?

That is total fuel burn for the boat, both motors.

Each motor burns 23-24gph at wot.

Thats 46-48 total gallons per hour at 102mph or so. I use my smartcraft race edition to collect my data, so I know its good.

I then data log everything to my PC. For every time I use the boat I have all the data. We also do snapshot data collection at various rpms.

This should help.

But remember, air temp, humidity, sea conditions, fuel load, number of people in board, and propshaft height all effect this data. I do have all of this data for each of these, but what is below should answer your questions, regards the 65mph area. I should point out that at 65 my Skater does porpoise, it stops right around 68-72, depending on all of the above.

I started out turning out. I am now turning in and all of the data I posted above, is turning in. Turning in is faster, but slightly looser on my 30.

I get this question allot, seems to be some confusion about the size of the 30.

All of the 30s are 30' 8" long, 9' 6" wide, have 2" wide splash rails as well as a tunnel just a few inches narrower then that the 32B, when they come out of the mold.

A few that are race boats, have been cut in half, from front to back, and have been widdened in addition to the above. Mine was not cut in half.
