Thanks !! I know who they are and where they are , just need some feedback from someone who doesnt work there .I love the front seats on that 28 , but the back looks too much like a bench seat . Here is what I have in mind for the rear . Does anyone have a pic of a 36 Skater rear seat shell ?

buttonhead40 08-29-2008 06:55 PM

no not my front seats, have no idea what they are worth, you buying or selling? who did the embroidery for you?

Ryan Beckley 08-29-2008 07:33 PM

PPI will do a great job. They did My 24' interior and did the bench to bucket conversion on my backseat. They are about 1 mile from my shop. They won't dissapoint you.

I asked this many times before , but I'll try again , does anyone have a picture of a Skater or any cat rear seat shell . A seat shell is a seat without Vinyl . I have to make one

activatorf1 08-31-2008 11:17 PM

Thanks , I need to make a Fiberglass shell before I get it covered

my00b16si 08-31-2008 11:25 PM

just asking, why dont you have premier build it out of king star light? you have so much more versabilty with plastics then glass when it comes to seating. i will explain if needed.

activatorf1 09-01-2008 07:28 AM

Well , Jim said it would come apart when bounching off big waves @ 100 MPH . I was told Skater uses a Fiberglass shell , Is that true ?

Larry

Plywood, balsa, and fiberglass. Not a one piece shell.

activatorf1 09-01-2008 02:43 PM

Do you have a pic ? My front seats are just Fiberglass . My last boat I made a seat with plywood and glass and it weighed a ton .

Will do, mine are the older style tho, not nearly as nice as some posted here. Mine look the exact same as the white maroon and gray set posted by my00b16si.

activatorf1 09-02-2008 08:15 AM

Thanks for the pics ! Do you have pics of high back rear seat shell ?I take most of the holes are to lighten it up? Also is that star board , and how thick ,1/2 ? I need to know how much foam is added to the shell so I can take that consideration in my design.

Ppi ?

activatorf1 09-04-2008 07:29 PM

I spoke to Jim last week about int on my 32 Skater , please call me I have a few Questions before I build my rear seat frame . I also have a friend who has been in the boat building business for other MFG for many years , now we are Mfg our own boat , the hull is done and we just made the deck plug and I showed him a sample of your work and he wants to bring boat down to you from NJ when the deck is on so you can work your majic . We want to be able to just order an Int as we build them .

Larry @ 609-315-2640

my00b16si 09-04-2008 07:45 PM

no problem!

activatorf1 09-08-2008 07:38 AM

Jim called me and I'm very clear on how to build the seat frame . One queston, how thick is the foam where your ass sits and also how thick where you would lean into ? I need to figure this into my design so I can have my desired ride height for the poor jackass that gets to ride in the rear seat . You can E-mail me at [email protected]

Larry

my00b16si 09-10-2008 04:25 PM

I will send them to you tomorrow via e-mail
