I'm not looking to buy, but just curious what approximate top speed is.

allstarmarine 09-26-2008 09:18 AM

In the neighborhood of 110mph. If someone is interested in the exact speed I would be glad to find out for them. Thanks for the inquiry.

gsmith9898 09-26-2008 02:56 PM

if I could sell my elimiantor i would be a player.

Xchoke03 09-26-2008 09:55 PM

Looks to be in good shape for a 91. i would imagine somebody will jump on her at that price for sure.

allstarmarine 09-27-2008 01:47 PM

The boat is a great boat. The owner has had a change in hobbys.

I would have to have more than that out of my daytona. Besides he has a new hobby.

allstarmarine 09-29-2008 05:52 AM

Thanks for the interest but I believe the only trades the owner would entertain are motorhomes with slideouts.

bill63 09-29-2008 08:56 AM

looks like a old race boat if so which one

allstarmarine 09-29-2008 09:11 AM

The boat was originally owned by Maynard Troyer the owner of Troyer Modified Race Cars. It was then powered by a pair of Katech Small Block 383C.I. Engines I believe. The boat was raced a few times but I don't know that it was ever a true race boat I could be wrong though.

Katech was a small block pioneer in our area.....Butch ryan won a lot of races in the eighties with katech motors (under his direction of course)..

Yes it was a race boat, and they were 372cu Katech smallblocks.

The smell of a 2 cycle Johnrud in the morning, making a perch run is how I get my fix now. Time has gained us some sense.. Let's raise a cool one in honer of Joe !! Then tell Big Bob will use the GOOD ONE'S, that will get him back in the boat.

How do I know this was the Eastern Express, the custom tie bar I made and the blue anodized floor plate in the engine compartment. She ran 120 at lake X with 372cu 700hp Katech smallblocks back in 1992.

32agitator 10-08-2008 04:56 AM

shawn 10-08-2008 09:05 PM

New Price

NEW PRICE, someone is going to get a steal of a deal on this boat. The owner has recently lowered the price to $48,000. As soon as this boat sells there are gonna be a number of people saying I should have, I could have, and I would have. Come and get it before its gone. SWEET DEAL..... You won't be disappointed.

activatorf1 11-05-2008 04:40 PM
