Default 28' Skater

Hi Frank, , How are you doing? I see you are going to change motors? I thought you were going to be looking for bigger motors soon,, That boat ran very good with 300 promax's I think I would put 300x on that boat, and put adjustable jack plates, or are the adjustable plates on there now?

we had my old 28 running 115 with 2.5s . I would think with 300x's you should be pushing high teens

Top speed so far was 106 with 100 gal.I ran 102 with 200gal. I have 2x135gal long range tanks.I am running 14.75 x32 work done by BBlades.I was told they would not be my top end props so I had him do some work on them to make it accelerate Hard! I have not had a chance to run the boat light on gas with my New Powerhead.I blew one at 26 hrs, good thing for warranty. Not my fault, seems to have been a factory assembly issue.

New 300XS . They are great motors,28-30gph @90mph!(try to do that with big blocks!) They idle and shift smooth and with the SC5000 race view I can monitor all functions. All I need is the damn Y cable for my Northstar 567( Have been waiting since Jan!) Once I have that I will be able to run two screens for the engs. The only gauge I have is a gps speedo.I will post some pics of my dash soon.
