46' 4-man canopy in classifieds

Hey guys...
What power would be necessary to run the 46', 4 man, canopied boat with VI's that's listed in the classifieds to 100?
Thanks.
Chris

Are you refering to Yali Golans 46?

I know quite a bit about that boat as I almost bought it.

I hired Ed Guadardo to go look at it.

I spoke with Yali Monday night and he has it under agreement.

650,s would get you a 100. Those are wetsump 6,s also.

Its actualy a 95 hull and the former BudDry boat
it was also rigged with Arnesons.

Thanks for the info.

I gave Pete the hin and he told me it was the Bud dry
boat. Maybe he had to much Eggnog.

Actualy he said it went like hell too. You dont think it had anything to do with the Arnesons do ya?

Rik 01-07-2009 08:36 PM

??

They built the one (40') with Zoomies thru the deck for exhaust. Errol Lanier raced it with Stoffer, then Augie and Stoffer raced it as Bud was giving $$ and Stoffer owned the hull so out went Errol.

There might have been a second boat but I cannot remember.

You should put at least 1000hp motors in it. It will be a lot more fun with 1200hp. Its a big boat!!

yep, just starting to consider the switch from v to cat, of course bigger is better in the power dept, but with great power comes great financial responsibility...i was woudering about the new KE 7-somethings...maybe a better match for a 36...
how come it's been for sale for so long?

Jim. how are you ? yep bigger is better, but as that goes so does the longevity ! how about some K.E. OR ---- @ 950-975 HP, say 110-115 WOT, cruise @ say 90 -- well OK, but is the hull moist and the new gas  additives ? and it's under agreement any ways. Besides, when U puttin yours in my yard ? LOL and yep it's a big boat, good c-in-ya in K.W. J
