whm, bad, the other blue 40 that looks like aj's, black rock'it, i also think the new predator is an ss...not for sure on that though.

Jesse James 03-11-2009 07:30 PM

then maybe I am confused on what I am calling a SS it was the 40 withthe tall hullsides and the 3 race boats I recall were Drambuie (only for maybe a couple races, I think 1 was Key West) Desantis Chevrolet, and Airborne/Big Thunder....are those SS or no?...

BTW I was at the ramp today and got to see Alberts MTI up close It is amazing the paint is great....never caught the treasure map in the photos....

I haven't gotten to see it up close since it was finished. Didn't realize it had left Fl.:ernaehrung004:
I talked to mark today and he said AJ's isn't a SS. Rumpshaker was though and I assumed Bad was since Vinny told me how deep the tunnel was. Mark also said Black Rock'it was.

Jesse James 03-11-2009 09:22 PM

any shots of rumpshaker...I havent seen that one.....so is AJ's the same as Slugs new Dirty Duck? and is canepa's new blue one a SS?

the mti was definatly a show stopper....but I favor that skull and tribal thing, as well as the overstated name and a character....hence the JJ Active Thunder.....any idea who owns that now? I hear it is out on Grand or maybe texoma

Nice pics AJ. RumpSkaker is/was owned by Sean Bishop, Lollipops in Daytona Beach. One of my favorite paint jobs, very bright and pretty.
The JJ Active Thunder is owned by one of my good friends on Grand, Eric Alton. He doesn't get on the board though.

What does the Airborne boat look like now? What ever happened to the Drambuie skater?

NO MERCY 03-12-2009 11:49 AM

Rumshaker isn't owned by Sean anymore. He traded it for a motorhome and the boat changed hands a couple times. The current owner had the boat at the Miami boat show run and I think the FMO run as well. And I agree its a beautiful boat, the cockpit is massive in that thing !

BAD is an SS as well. Wrap around windshield 5 seater.

Jesse James 03-12-2009 12:47 PM

I noticed a picture of Bad with a bolster facing port sitting behind the front bolsters...is this for a passanger or maybe just in the cocpit during a replacement or repair?

I noticed that as well.... only thing I can figure is:

Look at the Drivers seat, notice how much wider it is than the throttleman seat and the one sitting behind it. One of the owners probly had an oversize seat built, and the one sitting sideways is the original regular size, just sitting in the boat for storage while its for sale.

again, just a guess.
