Look for a picture of my 32 and you will know what to do. it's the Talk-n-Trash 32 that did 172.3 mph. I don't know how to post pics or I would but I'm sure you can find it.

Hey thanks A-Z . While I somewhat agree with ya activatorf1 smaller boats tend to have a sleek look without the burden of a windshield but if done right it can be pretty trick looking. Well I think so anyway
|
Brad at shields can make one for you. But your on your own for
installation support. You may want to try Aeromarine out in California She may be able to hook you up. I like the look of the full windshields myself. Go for it. I think we ended up with a 30 degree sweptback angle. Its in this angle which makes all the difference in the profile view. |

My Carlson had just a very short fairing which was no protection at all at 100+. I bought a helmet which helped a lot even at 70-90. Good-lookin boat Jimmy. :) |
Go with a windshield! I love mine. You can actually talk to the person next to you at 100. Id go with one like on talkintrash looks great. Mine is similar
|
1/4 canopies are nice on the 32. Any speeds north of 100 mph for even a short time without windshields gets real old.

I originally was going to post "Noooo! Don't do it!" but after reading thru this thread, I think it kinda comes down to what "kind" of screen ur putting on. I prefer a little wind in my face, cheeks flapping bikini tops ripping off and the deafening roar of the wind. Plus the fact that you feel like you're running 300mph at 110mph. BUT a 32 that is running over 130 without a screen would dn near be impossible to enjoy. So do whatever you like, but do it right and do it quality. I wouldn't even consider a 32 with a crappy screen on it, but updating it to Canopus or split windows would upgrade the looks and downgrade the experience. (for me)
But I can also understand wanting to wear a hat at 100 and talk to your friends. TomAto, TomAHto. |
Canopus? Why the HELL my iPhone corrects "canopies" to "Canopus" is beyond me. But you get what I'm sayin.
