30' Skater
The flat deck gave it some great lines. I have a tab in the tunnel of my 28 which helps mid range porpoise but two on the outside like that looks like a receipe for disaster.
I've got my 28 in for new tanks and blue printing the hull and water ramps. Hopefully that will solve the water pressure issues. Do the 300X and 300XS lower units interchange? Also where is the best place to purchase merc props and lower units now? |

Water ramps, I put them on my 30 myself, and went from 6-8lbs to 12-15+lbs. 300X/300SX lower units are the same I have a set of Merc 15x32, 3 blade cleaver, over hub, lab finished, excellent condition, I you are interested, PM me. I have tried them, plus a bunch of others, and Throttle-UP 5 blade, and Throttle-UP 4 blade. The TU 4blade, are my props of choice. |

The 30 looks real nice!
The bottom looks a bit differnet than mine: I see the 'water ramps', I put them into mine after the 1st year I see the trim tabs, mine does not have or need them I see a 'flair' on the outboard edge of the splash rails. I wonder what that is for. |
