Sorry took so long. I've had a few issues all self inflicted on my re-rig since I got the boat back from Douglas. This should answer your questions. I have not had a chance to put the boat in the water yet. I am running engines second hole from top on the transom. No jack plates. Good Luck, Sam |
Cool Skate Thanks,Ray

I have not seen that before. What are they for?

On the 28's the water pressure is not adequate on the higher faster mounting positions (less than 15 PSI). The water ramp allows water to be directed to the water pick up on the sportsmaster lower unit correcting the problem.

Looks close to where the pickups for a ballast tank would be/are. Think we tossed around the idea of using them for pickups but didn't have pressure issue's. Looks Great!

It gave me about 3 psi more so of course I just broke more things because I could run the motors higher.

Ran the boat first time since the water ramps. Good water pressure with no issues at one hole up from factory. Funny I broke my stuff too. I hit a submerged object. Check out the skeg. Any suggestions? BTW we kicked a 36 Spectre this weekend even with the bent skeg.

I haven't seen that trick. Do you have a photo? What do they charge and how long do they keep them?
