Jim, How long did it take to start the engines after they had been setting ?

My boat sat for a month and I started both motors the other day without pumping the primer ball. Took maybe 5 seconds? I might remove them now after what I'm reading

Thanks Jim,

We eliminated the bulbs and ran new 3/8" line from tank to engine. We also changed the mechanical pump diaphrams that appeared stretched. Restriction may have caused diaphram damage. Plus, there were little chunks of strange rubber in the mechanical pump.

Then we switched to "Rejuvinate" Mercury 2 Stroke oil, Mercury Tech was convincing. Both the engine and bilge tanks were drained and flushed. The engines were then put in "Brake In Mode" for 120 minutes. That was done to allow the extra addatives to do maximum work.

The engines start and pull much much better. They even sound stronger.
