Questions
Hello all, I have a few Skater inquiry's / questions. Aside from outboards which looks like the typical set up, have many of the newer 28 or 30ft Skaters been rigged with BBC power? And if so how do they handle, what type of speed do they see depending on HP? Has anyone thought about a 30footer with 700's or custom motors & NXT drives?

28's are outboard all the time.
30's are built both ways. 30 with 800's/arnesons runs 150+. 30 with Ilmor 710's/Imco runs 135. |

Here is one (a 30) with LS7 and X-Power drives. I have been in this one, and she is a runner:

The Arnesons handle far better and perform way better than the I/O's. The 30' Skater with Arnesons will blow your mind how it turns and accelerates.
I was thinking arnesons would be the ticket! What is the weight savings over a #6? |
