Thx for the info lads!!! Greatly appreciated!!! As for the center pod?? Is that a better setup for rough or smooth water conditions??? New to the cat style and boating in general. Getting off the motorbike and on the water for a while. Love the 24 skater as my first choice. What's the fuel tank sizes in either of these boat talon or skaters??? Wife keeps wanting to know!! She's only worried about the operating expenses of owning a twin outboard.

Cheers,

Operating expenses have been quite low for me... Boat runs on 93oct and they sell premium plus oil at walmart for 19.95. I would imagine it's a lot cheaper and more efficient than a 100+mph i/o boat.. I think my boat holds 150 total gallons. I've had 130+ in there before.

I have a set up question. I have a Motion 25 with new 300xs. I now have 13 hours on them and I am only seeing 108. I am turning the props out, bolted to the transom, with offshore midss. The prop centerline is not quite 1 1/2" above and I have lots of water pressure. This week I plan rotating the props in, but I should I also install the manual jack plates. If I had 300x I would but the 300xs' are about 50 pounds heavier.
any ideas, My goal is to get to 112 mph. Oh I am running 15x34 three blade mercury cleavers.
