28-32 Cabin
Has there been any 28-32 Skaters built with and access for a Cabin, Wifes only requirement is a spot for a portapotty, and an area just large enough to change out of wet clothes at end of the day.

you could do a 32 with a spot in the deck with access throgh the deck hatch would be cool pete will do what evere you want but wont find one ever done i dont think if you find a 32 i can set up the deck so you can have it here way call me know of a 32 would fit the bill 248 909 0240

My 32’ Classic has a cabin with a bench on one side and a small bed on the other. Access is through 2 hatches in the deck. My wife uses it to change and as a bathroom. She uses a 5 gallon bucket because I don’t want to clean a toilet, but you could put one in. I don’t have any pictures of the cabin and will not be able to get any till it warms up. (it is -3 in Michigan now) You can ask Pete at skater about the cabin in my boat, it is a nice place to change and offers additional storage. PM me your e-mail and I will send you the picts I have.

I'd luv the see the pics as well.

David, your best bet for a cabin might be under your engine hatches!
I may have to add 5th engine though to compensate, sorry glassdave |
I thought if the seats were put together off to one side there may be enough room for a small access door into the sponson area vs climbing up on the deck. It would have to be a non canopy boat with full windshield.

30' Skater has a 9' beam, 32' Skater has a 9'4" beam, 36' Skater has a 10' beam................................. |
There's only 2 32 Skaters I have come across with a cabin. The first is the triple 300 32 classic talked about already in this thread and the other was a 2000 or 2001 32B with 500's. It had a hatch on the faring that you crawled through to get down there. It just had a flat cuision down there as a bed. To my knowledge there's never been a 28 with a cabin.

Told the old lady all she has to do is climb over the windshield, drop in a hatch, pee in a bucket, and throw it over the side. She didnt find that appealing lol.

Come on guy's !! I tell my married friends when thier wife gets in the way of Toy shopping . Its simple invert wires on GFI and toss the hair drier in tub = new Skater in driveway with young Hot Kitty to follow !!!
|
When I purchaced my 32 skater the two questions my wife asked me were:
#1. How fast does it go (122mph) #2. Will it beat all our friends (yes) We put down a deposit and picked it up the next week. The cabin was just an added bonus. I guess I am lucky. Carl |
