36 with #6s and rudder?
Theres a 36 Skater in the classifieds with #6s and rudder can some one please enlighten me on the subject, unless redundent steering is the new rage.

never seen another setup like this.... i was wondering if the #6s steered.... thanks blume.... strange looking transom.. great looking 36

What is they advantage to this set up?

Easy gear change (swap upper). The ability to adjust hight and rotation depending on conditions.
(mostly needed for race applications) |

The Bacardi Silver is rigged that way too. If you watch the YouTube video with Matt Lauer, you can see the #6's with skegs missing. I'm betting that the props run a lot cleaner at those speeds without the disturbance of the skeg right in front of it, and the skegs probably aren't adequate for directional stability anyway.
