Default What are you paying for insurance on a 28' Skater?

Hey guys I was wondering what you all were paying for insurance on a 28' Skater. Also what you have for coverage, full value, inland waters, coastal, do you have a lay up period, say 6 months, have you had any claims in the past etc.

Thanks

How come nobody is posting numbers ? What is the Ballpark price ? I know many people who run without ins because of cost and the way policy are written . There is always something buried in there that gives the Ins co a way to avoid paying claim . When it comes to HP boat ins get an atty to go over policy , I trust nobody

It is probably because no one wants people to think how foolish we are for spending what you spend for insurance on a boat. A lot of things factor into the rates. How much cat experience you have, driving record on the road, credit score, realistic speed/power of the boat. Where you live. How is it stored. Year of the boat. Some older hulls they will not write.
I would not consider running my boat as a business owner without insurance. Wake Zone did a good job and she is very happy to help. Be glad you do not live in FL.
I have mine insured for 150k. I would say you could spend anywhere from $3500.00 to over $5000.00 a year depending on your situation. Call Stacey at Wake Zone and get the facts. Hope this helps.
