Doe anyone know of a 21 skater for sale ( bare hull)
#12
Yea I know a little about them. Tricks are the best knock offs and have good build quality. The liberators are different hulls and dont have much free board ie they suck in rough water compared to the skater. The extreme and lightening 21's are copies of skaters as well and do great in rough water but they aren't built quite as well as skaters or the trick boat.

Thanks for info ! These 21 Skater owners are asking 30 k for 27 yr old boats with older engines ! I paid less for my 32 Skater !
Does anyone know if Xtreme is still in business ?
I cant pay 18 to 20 k for bare hull that needs new paint and modern rigging .

I bought a 2008 Triick new with 300XS. Very nice lamination schedule. Real tanks and no wood anywhere to rot. I got it up to 105 first weekend out. It crabbed hard right at 105. I put it on the trailer cleaned my shorts sold it never looked back. Then I bought a 28.

So, what was different about the build quality of the 28 if the 21's are junk?

There is no reference to a junk build - I believe skate reference is to handling with the 21

No they are same great quality. You need to be careful in the 21. It's a great boat but handling can be an issue quickly. Just be careful and get alot of seat time. Stuff happens fast in a 21 at 100 MPH. Also be careful turning it if you don't especially if you don't have a 15" midsection.
