Hull mods necessary to retrofit ASDs on a 36?
 

Curious if anyone knows if the 36 bottom works well with Arneson drives without mods or if changes need to be done to the bottom? Just looking at different power/drive options and leaning towards N/A motors & arnesons but boat was originally built with blower motors & cut for sixes.

Any input? Be interesting to hear from anyone who has had a skater w/arnesons to see how they like them - especially on the 36.

There are no mods required to the boat bottom. Does the 36' in question have a notch in the transom? Not a lot of 36's did I believe.

I don't know of any boat that needs bottom modifications with the Arnesons.

Still deciding on power - have 572s that I can do as NA or with whipples, or tempted to do a LSx based 427-454" pair but concerned they may not develope the torque necessary to get 36' moving without a lot of fuss (LSx would be my first choice if I was doing a 32').
