They need A LOT better steering and I mean A LOT
I didn't notice that. yea think so too! |
I just received my new Mercury 2-stroke oil (92-8m0078011) to replace the DFI oil I am currently using in my 300xs's. Is there a compatibility issue with switching to the new oil? Can I just add the new oil to the tank without cleaning out the oil system?

You should be fine mixing them, but if it were mine I might run the old stuff down somewhat before adding the new.

The new racing red oil, burns very clean, there is not any black oil deposits on the cleaver prop blades at the end of the day. You can add it to a tank with DFI in it. Do like SS930 says.

You can find it online "Cheap Mercury Parts" about $42.50/ Gallon, with three gallons minimum.

Also need to make sure you all are using the new mercury racing gear lube also. It is yellow/clear in color. I have been running it for months now. Good Stuff.
I will check with my source down here and see what they charge for the racing 2 stroke oil. I am not sure what I am paying/??? LOL |
