Any 28 skaters close to the indy area? Would like to check one out.
Also how do they compare in cockpit space to a spectre of the same size.

Also are there any 28's out there forsale not listed?

I think skater as only build around 130 28's total. That is part of what makes them so cool to me. Good luck with your search.

Not sure what you are looking for but there is a wide range of 28's for sale from some that need restoration to some nice ones.
Wide range of pricing also.

I did not want to be the first to say it but I don't think I have seen as good of a selection of outboard Skaters as available now.

If money is not an option, DR is amazing!!!!!

when I was looking, they were real hard to come by, now seems to be quite a few!

I'm still in lust with yours Craig. I like the simple to no graphics as the 28s' have such great lines. I'm suprised someone hasn't picked it up yet.

What's going on with the powerhead? You guys have been quiet!!!

Ron, I got my boat back and had it out on the water yesterday. Doing the "break-in" schedule now. The other engine seems fine. I am running approx. 2 to 4 degrees hotter on the break-in motor. Did you experience this with your replacement powerhead?

David, Dont exactly remember but would think with new rings getting seated that it would be normal.
Let me know how shes runs,

I wouldn't worry about 2-4 degrees. Wait and see what it is after break in.

That's my old boat sold it about 3 years ago and it was practically a new boat I redid everything. Somebody's going to get a great skater.
