It sounds like you will be more than ready when spring gets here. I think that its a good move on your part to have
them dial it in before you get it. Pretty cool that this is the very first one with the 400Rs! We all appreciate the pictures coming! |

Hey David, Completion is still on target for the end of March. Not sure about actual delivery yet. The motors being swapped to the 400Rs isn't supposed to hold up anything as it was discussed a while back already. May go to factory for testing before I take delivery in NJ. Weather is real suspect in April here anyway. If it helps them dial it in I can let them keep it a little longer. Id rather give them the time they need and get it right so I don't have to fiddle around to much after I get it here.

Steve, my lake in SC is much closer than Ar-kansas, much cleaner water and much warmer than NJ or Ar-kansas for testing. I will also need a credit card # when cat arrives for testing. No need to thank me thats just the kind of guy I am.
P.S. You Superdave, Sam, Ron and others for graciously letting us live thru your build threads. |

Hey guys I appreciate the offers. Ha. When I ordered the boat and then took it over as a wide body I didn't realize they were going to basically build it as a 338 outboard with no bussels. The upgraded dash they used makes it a totally different boat. I thought it was coming with the old cockpit as I was told the cockpit would be the same size as the regular flat deck. The interior is now so different and a bit larger than what I thought was coming. I was in love with the 308 they took to the 2010 Miami Boat Show but the way they did this one is head and shoulders above that in my humble opinion. The guys at skater are great. its nice when you pay for something and it just keeps getting better and better without asking. Ha. I m getting a bit antsy now. Another month and it'll be getting really close. Steve
