Think I figured out the pic thing. Sorry if they're not big enough. Let me know. They come up Fairly large for me but Im no computer guru. The 30 will seem big compared to any other 30 out there. You will love it. I would have Pete finish out the area directly below the deck hatches as its a great place for extra storage. I carpeted mine, but having it white with a slicker finish would be nice. Chris |

Yea LA I didn't think so but you never know. Would be fun to be the first. Problem is you're kinda go in blind. Because the deck windshield and wide body you never know whats gonna happen in the end. Should be interesting anyway. Nice haven the transom strengthened for trips or maybe those rumored merc 400s. How about really wishful thinking and triple 400s. Now that would be wonderful. Not sure if it would be possible as they don't exist yet. Steve

That pic has been around for almost a year now. Sorry to say that if that is Mercury's answer to a high performance outboard us guys are out of luck. That motor will too heavy, use high test fuel, limited warranty and be very expensive. Not too mention that if they do not change the gearcase it will blow up as well. Have enough issues with 300hp.
Maybe well suited for the CC market which is where all the outboard sales go anyway. Back 4yrs ago a 350hp Verado was $27k each. |
