Does your windshield require a full receiver to be cut into the factory option? If yes, how big of a modification it it?
Chris built the receiver for after market mods for all Skaters. And yes it requires some modification of the deck. Notice mine doesn't have the second hump in the deck. Almost a flat deck 28. Like I said I couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship that Boat Customs provided and the performance of the boat. I think you'll see this type of boat with windshields as well as bigger outboards available from Skater in the future . But all boats can be modified with a windshield if you want one.

I noticed that too. I think its an illusion caused by the paint in those pics from the rear. Side profile looks same as stock in the rear.

Did you happen to call Skater on a price for that rear hatch? It would be a shame to cut down a race hatch.

no I didn't LOL...I was planning on using the race hatch as the storage cover and then using the rest of it as a race hatch cover behind the bucket seats anyway if it would save on building both of them. Had a few ideas for the 28 but that's not going to happen now.

Stock hatch. The paint makes it look bigger. I used to have a 28 with the race / pleasure set up. Lot more room between the front and back seats. And its cool to have on when there's only two in the boat.
