25" motors on a 24' ?

Can the 25" motor's be used on the 24' skater ?
Thanks for the input. Randy

How about will it work or could it be made to work ??

I have found a old copy / Skater 24' (in need of repair ) and some L and R 250's but they are 25". Thus the question.
Ideas ? Randy

No, way too deep, 5 inches to be exact.

Thanks,Andy.
Was thinking maybe a jack plate to move things up? Maybe the transom could not take the higher mount ?

most 24s set ups have the propshafts 1 3/4 " window above the bottom
15" motors work perfect and give best handling
20" motors work but handling in rough suffers some from the weight up high
25" motors will be terrible in any rough with powerheads so high and the extra weight of the motors at 25"
and really look weird sticking 10" higher up

That's the explanation I was looking for ! Thanks !
I was sure that the power head up high would have a effect .

Here is another question . Are their 15" mid-sections out their for sale ? Ok, do I already know the answer !
