Swim Ladder

2 Attachment(s)
Another weekend of wind and some rain so got another project off the list. It would be difficult to climb in the this thing with some sort sort of swim ladder for the days in the Keys or sandbars. Fabricated custom white plexi wedge to kick the ladder out at a better angle.
A couple of pics

Trailer Tool Box

4 Attachment(s)
In getting ready for summer towing I wanted to have a tool box on the trailer for all those things you need. I looked at pre made ones that would bolt on the outside but it ruined the look of the trailer.
Came up with an idea and had one of our fabricators we work with build a custom one.
Box is plenty big.
Drilled and tapped to the frame from the inside so you do not see any bolts. Also installed weather stripping and Drideck inside to keep things from moving around.

I really like this and the simplicity of this without a platform hanging back there.

I'm in the process of putting a swim platform/peeplate with a retractable ladder for the girls. It's the same one David has on his 28. I've seen two of them and they both had issues with the retractable ladder not staying in place. I made my transom flat on the build too make it easier to step off the transom or stick a spare 300XS:evilb:

Before it was difficult to board here on the convex surface between the motors. I found some double suction cup handles at Harbor Freight to put back there to help those who needed it.

Nice, as expected from you! Does it get wet mounted there?

Double.. Too bad you don't like snow - you could take Skater to another level if you were in charge of QC (and no one complains about fit and finish peter puts out)

not surprising, you may actually surpass your 28'...

David, I assume you are talking about the tool box and not the bracket!! :lolhit:
The trailer for the 30 is massive. It could carry a 36. It will not get close to the water but it is 100 percent sealed and that is why I also did not have it stick past the bottom just in case.

Maybe so in Florida but on our Podunk ramps here in Arkansas you either have to drive your truck up to the door seals to get your boat off the trailer or keep the winch tied as it falls off the end of the ramp or steep inclines.

I used the good ole boy plastic TSC tool box on my 28 and 30 mounted just behind the spare. Water would get into it on my ramp at home until I sealed the bolt holes in the bottom.
