Default 30' Skater Project Let the Journey Begin

Well after much debate and being able to sell my 28' Skater I purchased this 30' from a good friend of mine. I have spent the first weekend going through the boat and boat coming up with a list of things that I hope will transpire this boat to my own.
First on the list was installing the skirts on the cowlings after having to cut them for the steering plates.
Before

After

Also on the list is to rework the rigging tubes and rig tubes to allow better tilting off motors

Lastly working on the hull pick ups. Motors were not quite getting enough water pressure. Redoing supply lines and increasing size of hose/fittings as well redrilling and tapping gear case.
Hope to have that done over this weekend.

Ah Skater threads. Gods way of letting us know he loves us and wants us to go fast on water! Just in time for winter. Thanks Ron. BTW I have a nice wiring blueprint from a buddie and a few part left over from my build that we did know where they belonged if you need anything.

Possibly, I would love to use them but not sure if with pipe sticking out and the short distance between things whether or not it allow for much tilt. I will be working on this weekend and figure it out. Will definitely be in touch if I can make them work.
If you want to send a pair down for test I can send them back if does not work out.
Thanks!

Did your old boat leave today? Just passed a 28 on the turnpike sitting backwards on a flatbed trailer.
