My new 28 Skater ....
Gentleman -
I just wanted to thank Mr. David Zabielski for selling me his beautiful 28 Skater. I saw the ad on Monday afternoon, called him and talked for a few minutes, called him back that evening, and had a text agreement to buy early Tuesday morning. I woke up about 3:30 AM on Tuesday thinking about it so I figured this must be the one. Funny how that works.
My schedule is busy the next few weeks so Dave volunteered to haul the boat 6 hours to Minnesota so I could get it before the snow falls.
This was probably the smoothest boat buy/sell I've been involved with. Dave's a great guy and it was an absolute pleasure to do business with him.
Thanks Dave. Pictures to follow.............

Congrats again Mike, and welcome to OSO. I'll go back and bring a pic or two over for ya. You have to be a paying member here to post pics. The info and fellowship are well worth the cost though.

Thanks Flightplan. The previous owner sent it with 15 X 32 Merc Cleaver (4 Blades). I have a set of 15 X 32 Merc Cleaver (3 Blades) from a previous Spectre. His best numbers were with 15 X 34 Merc Cleaver (3 Blades) which gave him ~ 120 mph.
I'll probably play with my two sets next summer and then decide on buying a third set.

I guess I didn't notice you have been a member of OSO since 2001. Well then, welcome to the Skater brotherhood.
You should try to get those 15x34's. impressive numbers.

It will be parked on the "Whitefish Chain" where I have a summer cottage. The "Whitefish Chain" is located near the town of Crosslake, MN, which is 30 minutes North of Brainerd, MN, and 2 1/2 hours North of the Twin Cities.
