Wanted: 28 Skater
 

I've searched the internet over and have found nothing. I've PM'd and talked to about everyone I know and have come up short.

I'm open to about anything except unfixable junk (which I almost bought but several people on this forum talked me off the ledge).

No real budget (except for brand new - I've already looked into that).

I'm not a tire kicker. I'm ready to pull the trigger now.

It's a sickness and I'm very ill. I've explored "other" brands and options. I want a 28' Skater and that's it.

My buddy who I bought my boat from wanted a new 28 and has spoken to Pete about it recently also. You guys should try and make a deal for 2 new boats. I think it would be great to see him build some boats. Possibly also sell some more...

My budget is $125k
New doesn't even get close.

I've done the math 20 different ways. It's 180-200k on the cheap.

So I guess that lead didn't pan out.

Erik had really shaken the bushes when he was looking for a 28. Maybe he has some leads. Zero or Double should be able to contact him. Just a thought.

I'm sure you will find a very nice 28 with that budget. Something will pop up. Good Luck Doc.

Not to volunteer anyone out of turn but with that budget, Double Rigged could probably rebuild/refinish/upgrade you a hell of a 28'... so far he's batting 1000 on his own Skaters.

joking aside, your budget can land you a gem when it appears.

What's wrong with the one for $55 in the classifieds? That's a different boat then the one over on Scream & Fly, yes?

Good luck on your search BAM. I was obsessed with a Skater 28 myself this past fall and all of a sudden one came up for sale. The deal was done the next morning. You'll find one.
