My opinion is that boat with twin 300xs's would be a slug to put it nice. Would need triple optimax's. Guessing around 90mph or so. Need to find out if they weighed the boat? |
That boat hit 101 mph with twin 300xs when new. It was perfect conditions/light load I'm sure, but it did (GPS pic was posted). I think 115+/- was the speed with trip 300x.

I'd have to see a 32B doing 100+ with stock 300XS to believe it. Maybe with a ripping tide/river, a 40 mph tail wind, etc. Either way that number is very optimistic. Low to mid 90's maybe... Even a 32A has a hard time breaking 100 with those engines.

Speed now is 105-6 in Florida I was told.

We have special conditions down here that are like kryptonite to superman!
It sucks the HP out of a motor and MPH. My 28 went 5mph faster off the trailer with small props and rookie driver in BC. One time numbers are what the are. One time numbers. Real world boating and loads I agree it would struggle to reach a upper 90's. Down here in the summer a 28 with 4 people and fuel load etc will struggle to break 105. |
I'm considering selling my 88- 32 a Skater , no power all new paint and gauges , vinyl ester boat ( no tank issues ) boat is cleared needs to be cut and buffed . Super nice trailer with three NEW torsion axles which has been sandblasted and ready for paint
