2012 40 skater vs 40ss
 

what are the differences, advantages disadvantages to each, ride quality stability cruising speeds. both 1100 merc power?

SS is wider by I believe a foot. Also the 40 classic only has 2 steps the SS has 5 steps. Expect speed on both to be close at around 155-160+ depending on how boat is set up of course. SS also has a deeper tunnel as well I think. I'm sure some others can chime in. Skater40 on here would have the best knowledge on this.
