I'm going to start over with no weight and add 25lbs at a time to see what give the best balance of rough water set up and less porpoise.

If you go with the Bravo props you may want to check these out:
(Bravo 1 OC), they're supposed to be specific for cats.

just finished rerig on 28 with 280s on 4" offset bracket with 32 humps
he took out on a fun run yesterday in la
and his porpous window was high 58-60 area to low 71-73 area,,,,so basically 15mph window
the lighter 280s and 4" offset helps
so again with the 18deg dewalds and 160 lbs in bow
if take out weight should make the window smaller
cutting the bell off of the brovos 1 and adding vent holes works great on o/bs
as stated like a OC version is

You do not need or want to have have that much weight up front for calmer conditions.
For sure take it out and run the boat. Also based on your cruising speeds you are talking about i have a pair of 5 blade 29p dewald round ears that are 20 degree rake.
I would be happy to let you try them. Also I know for handling spinning out is better but if you want to carry the bow more you can try spinning in.

Mercury k plane, the square one.

I run no weight in the front, and none in the rear if possible. An extra 20 gallons of gas will make a difference.

But we avoid rough water, the keys, rivers, and gulf are pretty flat sometimes.
