the pic above brings back some old memories
guy here in Houston back in late 80s-90 had a 24 with trip ported 260s on nitrous for drags on the river
boat hopped at any cruising speed
but when under full power flew dragging no hull like in that pic
2 out of 3 passes would get out of shape,,,but that 1 pass was awesome when it stayed straight and not too high

Speaking of triples...........

I rode in Bill Schiltz 23 Eliminator w/ triple 2.4's up on Crosslake, MN, several years ago. Wicked beast for sure - he buried a 120 MPH Nordskog speedo as I was yelling to hit the "down button" - I don't think he heard me or cared for that matter - LOL.

been soo long don't really remember if was striped or not but was white boat
was not a factory trip as adding a 3rd motor is not that hard
I have a tripped 260+ 27' vee and the excelleration is crazy stupid on a 2,800 lb hull
3 props vrsing 2 there is no comparison in the excelleration with o/bs
24 does not weigh that much more than a 21 and adding 250-300 more hp and 3rd prop
they fly,,,,don't dive good but fly

not going to argue,,,,,
24 skater was only 1600 lbs window
a 21 drives better with a single
a 24 drives better with twins
overpowering any of these hulls they fly
but rough water conditions as they were designed for goes down the drain
fast is good but offshore only is fast in the rough,,,,,,,

If everything works out right we will be able to do some solid testing of a 21 twin and a 24 triple come spring time haha. The picture of the trip 24 jumping out of the water looks awesome!
