The fastest West Coast Skaters I know of would be Howard Arneson's turbine 46 (200+), Chip Romer's 388 (200+) and Joe Abellera's 28/triple 2.5s (130+). And each of these boats ran these #s with the original owners - I have no idea what they're capable of now.

I'm guessing the newest PP could have posted some crazy numbers but my understanding is they never officially ran it out. I'd be really curious what it would have run and also why it was sold so soon.

this really means nothing since i can't recall where the video is, but the elder pyburn said on video they had the latest creation over 200 several times.

The 36' Bacardi Silver boat is probably the fastest Skater ever , with numerous legitimate runs at over 200 mph recorded at sanctioned events. Their fastest one way pass was 213 mph.


Then the boat was converted to a pleasure boat and has recorded speeds at over 195 mph at a sanctioned event.
