1996 32ft A model skater repower
This was the dream boat for my wife and my self. We had wanted one with big NA power but that's hard to find. So we bought one with super charged engines. We got to run the boat the last part of the summer and what a blast coming from smaller cats she drives and I run the sticks. Our boat is set up a little different them alot of the other older 32A boats because the engines are moved forward 18 inchs plus it has 2 speed Transmissions lol it makes it very easy to get on plane and move around the dock . With that being said we have since pulled the old engines out over the last month and started the r e rigging process and the new engine builds. The new power will be 600 CI 20 degree headed ,dry sump NA engines with all the bells and whistles from David Nickens looking make 950 NA. Wll be posting pictures as the build Progressive lol I need help posting pictures.

Very nice. Love these hulls from watching them race back in the day. Look forward to seeing the changes.

Sounds like a fun project! I'm guessing you're building race gas motors? 950hp out of 600ci NA motors would be a little much on pump gas, even with 20 degree heads. I'm curious to how fast it was with the motors that were in it? My buddy Rick set the modified class record back in the early/mid '90s at 142mph with 750hp motors in a 32A - Gone Again.

The boat supposedly has been 157 but my wife and I have only been 133 in it . We have never run it out don't really care to lol at least not with her driving. Yes they are pump gas motors well 11:7:1. We run our gas mixed so it comes out to like 98 octanes

Nice looking Rig! Love the classic / clean look, rather than over stated.
Stand the test of time forever with classic rigging etc. Thanks for sharing Jon |
Thanks we love it. It's old school for sure just they way it cam from Peter in 1996 witch fits our style very well its like a classic car my was says lol. Can't say nothing bad about the new boats the attention to detail and styling is unreal.

the engines being 18" forward makes it tight up front. with the N/A's should be a little easier to work on. love the classic lines!
