OK Guys, your not alone , I visit both sites like 100Plus does, I like Screamandfly cause they deal mainly with outboards, Mike how is that 21 running, how deep is the snow up there?

The snow on top of the Skater is about 2 feet+ deep. Ugh. I was planning to work on it this weekend. I was going to do some rigging at my buddies shop.

I lived in New Jersey all my life, until 95 then I decided, **** I'm going where its warn , hate the cold weather, Few more months and you'll be out of the woods.

I think you are referring to the Skater right? (Cause I have a 21 Superboat too). The Superboat is for Sale.

My Skater is an 89.

While I was looking I saw late 80s boats going for $20k with single 2.5 power and $15K without power (ballpark). I got mine for 17K with a 2.5 carb motor. I parted the motor out and got over $6000 back. So I think I did pretty well on the boat. It is all original rigging, nobody messed with the boat drilling holes or rerigging stuff. That's what I liked about it. When I got it, the gray color is a little faded from being out in the sun last summer with only the cockpit cover on it, but I am certain it will shine up nice when my detail guy gets his hands on it.

Very nice rig, let me know if you ever want to sell I am in NJ and hope to see you up on Lake Hopat.

Hey guys, i also run my boat on Lake Hopatcong, i have the 21 hustler with the flames on it, and the all white 28 skater. I live by state park.

have 28 skater had 2.5efi 12345 just put #6 #7 bullets on 300x this time boat is a 95 with canipies origanal owners. first run yeasterday 90 5000rpm in break in mode. liking the power this is going to be interesting.

This board is dead.I came from the Pantera board where there are multiple posts every day.The Skater board you are lucky if there is one a week.
After owning a 33Fountain,28Pantera race boat,I finally have the perfect boat.I have a 1999 28 Skater with 2000 2.5`s SS.The boat`s first owner worked for mercury.Hence it has a lot of mercury Lake X insignia all over the boat.I will post some pictures soon.
Where I boat in Atlanta @ lake lanier we now have 5 28 Skaters on the lake.I guess it is catching on here, that it is the boat to have if your need is Speed!

Nothing on the lake this weekend, I think I'm headed to St. Pete for the OSS race if everything goes right. I've got a little Sunsation that I tool around in when the outdrive is on the back.

It would be nice if more skater owners would post here small and large. Helps to be able to discuss setups props etc. with other owners 32B 6's and 850's

Hey 21 Hustler
We are nieghbors! I live in USR off of Weiss. I have a 25 Active Thunder and would love to take a look at your 28 Skater. The AT is for sale and a 28 will be the next move. T2X and others have been very helpful with showing me 28's but the more I see the more questions I have.
