28' Skater Owners
 

Hi everyone,
I first want to say I love Skaters they are the best cat in my book. The 28 footer is a real sweet boat and is a boat that I have been thinking about. I have a few questions about the boat that I was hoping that you could help me out with. I was wondering how they run with the 2.5 and 300 pro max's. Have they had the problem of flipinf over at high speeds? How do they handle the rough water? Over all would you do a 28 footer again or would you wait and by a 32 footer? Thanks for the info.

Anything over 2 ft is Nasty. Anything over 100 mph requires less than 1 footers.
Reasonable X dimensions with 300's should run 108-110 with one person, subtract 2 mph for each additional 200 lbs.
If your going to anymore poker runs you will need a bigger cat. I tried a 28 and went to a 36 so I could enjoy my grandchildren.

Thanks for the input on the 28. I have seen guys with 3 promax's on the 28's but i heard that it throws it off balance is that true?
