Default drive guard for 28 skater trailer

After 3 V Bottoms I finally bought the perfect boat a 28 Skater. The boat is a 1999 with 2000 2.5`s.I will have pictures to post soon.I am starting the process of fabricating a drive guard to weld to the trailer.I was considering one like skater uses for the 32 trailer. If anyone has one on their trailer I sure would appreciate any information, dimensions or pictures.I realize the dimensions would not be the same on say a 40` trailers drive guard and one for a 28.Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Steve, I think the one I have for my 24 is the best. I hear the other designs get bumped alot on loading the boat.

apache 21, thanks for the input.do you have any problems with the props hitting the guard when the boat settles on the trailer?Did Skater make the trailer and drive guard? Man those are some cool lowers,I am sure you have some serious time in the polish job.

Those drives are awsome. Is that polished or chromed.
Very trick looking, please let us know how you did it.

I would have thought the aluminum in a drive was too dark to get a bright shine likr that. Looks nice and having polished aluminum before I can apreciate the amount of time you put into it and the maintenance it requires to keep it.
