Re: New 24' Quarter Canopied Skater

You wil find it is about the same cost to build a 24 and 28 go with the 28

Whatever happened to this boat??

DrewDown 05-15-2008 11:10 AM

Does anybody run the old 24's in the ocean? If so how do they do compare to the 28?

stainless 05-15-2008 01:07 PM

No comparison. the 28 blows them away! The 28 made the 24 obsolete!

DrewDown 05-15-2008 01:15 PM

Any chance of running the 24 in the ocean or would that be a bad idea?

Also I was told that a 32 Classic is night and day over a 28 , is that true ?? They say a 32 Classic is closer to a 36 ride , even though it is only 4 ft over a 28 .True or not true ??

32 can handle much bigger water than the 28

I dont know about the 32 classic compared to the 28, however the 32B is night and day different.

JIMKID Motorsports 05-15-2008 08:10 PM

try and get insurance on that 24 not going to happen

racesdad 05-15-2008 08:59 PM

i have been in all three. the 28 feels like our 36 classic, handles and feel safe. 24 great lake boat. 32 or 36 are great for anything with inboards
