New CMI Exhaust for 496 HO's
 

did anyone see the ad for the new CMI exhaust on the home page of OSO?

It is claiming an additional 60 more Horsepower gain per motor and 14 more on torque

I'm having a hard time believing this so I'm going to call them for a dyno spec

islandracer I'm curious also because I plan to buy a 31 with ho's. with this kind of power increase you should see 80mph + correct ?

26 Sonic I Own A 04 31ss With 496 Hos, We Are Considering Selling At The End Of This Season And Buying A 42 Ss ,keep Me In Mind The Boat Is Absolutely Flawless ,hours At The End Of The Season Should Be About 150 , I Purchased The Boat New Last April....

Sloman...i Live In Millersville,...i Boat Mostly North Of The Bay Bridge, I Occasionally Go Down To Cantlers, Or Annapolis Harbor If I Go South Of The Bridge, I Hang Out At Dobbin Island About Every Other Weekend,we Also Hit These Bars;jellyfish Joels,red Eyes,the Jetty ,nabbs Creek Cafe,anchor Inn,and Sometimes The Wild Duck Cafe......what Color Is Your Sonic?....how Is It Powered ?...where Do You Normally Go When Boating ?

I live on Valentine Creek off the Severn we hang out at Pusser's, Baltimore, Benn to Jelly Fish once this year, Cantlers, Saint Michaels, Skippers pear and Harness Creek. I have a 02 with 496mags turning 26 labbed props, love the boat handles the bay great

My 04 31 with 496ho's 26 labbed bravo one props ran 74.6 @5100 full of fuel 3 people and in flat brackish water this past weekend. And the props have a few nicks in them. I need to have a little more cup put in them to see what happens.
