Looking for used Sonic
 

I am looking for a used older Sonic,1988-1994,28-31ft.Anybody have any leads?I might also consider 1998-1999 prowler.I am looking at spending around 30k.I live in the Chicago land area.

You missed a really nice looking 30ss several months back, looked cherry all around, really taken care of, was from the chesapeake area..... it was in your price range plus a little..... 26's you will find in that same price range, mid to upper 30's.... your not too far off..... and your getting into the start of the shoppers season... Your in a great area to find a good fresh water used boat, I brought my 31 home from Utica/Detroit area Michigan area this past Spring....

Hey Clyde there is a 41 ft sonic for sale in Ohio for $18,000 without power maybe u be interested, I think the website is national liduidator that's all I could think of maybe u could do some more on that

i have 1991 28-0 sonic completly redone 2003.all original gel coat with new graphics white dash with purple bezels white gauges new interior cockpit and cabin new gaffirig controls 20 hours on 350 mags 310 hp new heads all paper work.en closed head with door not a curtain.1998 eagle color white galvanized trailer.this boat shows better than a two year old boat. 32500.00 i have purchased a new 358 from sonic.pm me if interested. im on my way to virgina and can't send you any pics untill friday.

What is the actual weight of a 28ss with small blocks?? The brochure says it's the same as the 31, but it has to be less with 2.5' less fiberglass and small blocks...

I talked to this guy and was going to go look at it until a friend of mine talked me out of it.This boat has a pair of supercharged 468's in it,engines had like 150-200 hours on them the drives were about the same.The boat ran like 84 -85 mph.My buddy said this is like a time bomb waiting to go off with the amount of hours and that kind of power.After talking with the guy a couple of times you could tell he was getting rid of it because he was tired of sinking money into it.The cockpit was alittle rough also.By the time I added everything up I was like were am I going and I have kept looking
