Sonic 31 SS

As some of you know, I sold my 22-foot bowrider and I am looking for a 30-foot "wave crusher". It doesn't need to be the fastest both on the water, but I need three things...

1) A smooth ride from the ramp to the party cove

2) The ability to write it off as a "house"

3) Plenty of room for sex :evilb:

The 31 SS looks like a boat that will fit the bill.

Opinions?

Sex in the summer without a/c can be rough you better add that to your criteria. Also a good sound system to drown out the screams (you begging or her wanting more who knows which is louder). Ha Ha the 31 is a grat starter twin enginge sportboat then you move up like I need to!

The wife and I live on and cruise our Sonic 30SS for more than 10 days at a time, love it. The slide out second berth will give you lots of room for ......

It really is a great design that can handle offshore cruises to Nantucket or Key West, we have done both!

Clay,
You can't go wrong with a Sonic 31SS or an Active Thunder 32.

1) Led a poker run at A-Bay in 6 foot seas, 70 mph
2) I write it off every year
3) My daughter was concieved in the cabin (at a poker run!)

I think it would work for you :drink:

Clay, I know you like to play the field down there on Lake Travis. However, be very careful. I ended up proposing on the foredeck of my 35SS. :evilb:

Do you ever go over to Hippy Hallow and create wake havoc to drown some of those floating ugly naked people!!!! :D You can make bigger wakes with a 31SS.

LOL! Hey! I might be one of those "ugly people" over there! :p

I love going to "The Hollow". I have lots of (swinger) friends there. There's always some girl-on-girl action in the boat raftup. Especially after dark! :D

Clay after seeing a couple 31's in our area I went out and bought a 42 Sonic. That way I can get twice the girls inside the cabin. Friends have an 88 and 04 31 and they do great. We will be in Travis this year around the 3rd week of July. Will have the 31 and the 42 there. We met you at party cove last year. The group with the two houseboats and semi naked women! Ive learned a lot about Sonic so if I can help let me know. We were the pace boat for the OSS races this year and will be doing them again in 06. Keep the cove warm for us!

Man I love the 42. There's one up our way with purple graphics and 575sci's. It's a sweet set up, looks awesome and has lots of room inside.

Haha. I was there only once back in '91 by land. I had my girlfriend (a firecracker from Big Spring) with me. We did some skinny dippin' and didn't like what we saw floating around on blow up rafts :D Sounds like a great place to go now. Take video next time and share on the "unsensored" section! :evilb: I do like your other post there... you big HO! :drink:

Very nice boat. However, I want to stay under $50K. That boat is worth well over $100K!

that 31 is a nice piece. I almost bought that boat before i bought mine....but i had a boat to sell and that guy had cash....so he got it before i did. Since he bought it he went through the motors and drives. I would say that is a great boat to buy right now since it's fresh.

Clay, That's a nice looking 31, I've seen pictures of it on the forum before. I believe it's located in Texas but I doubt he's asking less than $50 g's. What is the purpose of the additional engine vents below the rubrail? Those Blackhawk drives are slick but I think props are very rare and pricey! Steve

Thanks Captwk. I'll be bringing my wife though, but that doesn't stop us from looking and partying! I love Austin.
