Does anyone know about the 2001 386 for sale (purple one)
 

Just curious about top end with the 575 package. also, if anyone has had any problems, minor or major, with that set up.

A 386 with 575's should do upper 70's. This year boat has the hand laid up hull. There is nothing wrong with this, it is just alittle heavier. The early 575's had a recall/ up date for a fuel rail if i'm correct.

I've seen the one at Shogren, very nice, although priced a little high.

I assume you are looking at the one Randy Sweers has with the 575's. I think it would be a nice package for that hull. The only issue I would have is when the motors are due to be rebuilt. I'm not sure of the maintenance interval for that engine.
