I am looking at a 997 38' Sonic in good condition w/ twin 502 MPI's (No trailer).
Can anyone tell me what they might think its worth? |

Go to Boat Trader Online and perform some comps.

Re: 1997 38' Sonic
I have a 1999 at Offshore Performance that I need to move. It is perfect with HP 500's. It is the best one out there. Take a look. www.Offshore-performance.com

Nice boat, if they could take a trade on it, it probably would be in my driveway by now.

Re: 1997 38' Sonic
Catwoman- have you bought anything?
billville- No reply to my email. Last time I spoke with a salesman there, a couple months ago, they would have expected you to take the trade, not them. Most dealers these days want to avoid taking trades, and I think they miss out on a lot of business because of it. |
Re: 1997 38' Sonic
We absolutely don't have a problem with considering any trade-in.... it's just that in a brokerage situation, the dealership would have to essentially buy the trade from the customer, and the seller of the brokerage boat gets cashed-out, goes on his way, and the dealership is left with their money "on-the-line", on a boat that they might not really want. This is not to say that situation has never happened, but it's certainly not typical.
